A perennial favourite, the Aquna Murray cod, asparagus, cured egg yolk, finger lime, Murray cod and coconut nage with basil, puffed cod skin, native herbs is exquisiteness on a plate.

Rick Shores

Located right on Burleigh Beach and boasting floor-to-ceiling windows which perfectly showcase ocean views, Rick Shores should be the destination of choice for anyone who loves seafood.

Inspired by pan-Asian flavours, the restaurant is close to the deluxe Swell Resort Burleigh Beach, as well as most of Burleigh’s main attractions.

Their Moreton Bay bug with Sriracha, mayonnaise and lettuce, literally flies out the door. Such is the popularity of this house favourite.

To keep things fresh the menu changes regularly, as does it award-winning drinks list. But the quality of food and the friendliness of its service never waivers.

Bazaar

If you love a restaurant that showcases flavours from around the world then Bazaar at the QT Gold Coast is your kind of place.

Located in the heart of Surfer’s Paradise, close to the beach and all of the area’s main attractions, Bazaar takes you on a culinary journey from the Middle East to Latin America and beyond.

In keeping with the hotel’s 5 star luxury demeanour the restaurant is stylishly designed with sophisticated décor and ornate accents.

The food, as prepared under the guidance of Executive Chef Greg Benney, showcases slow-cooked meats and fresh seafood peppered with innovative spices, that will leave your taste buds dancing with delight.

Kiyomi

Run by executive chef Chase Kojima, Kiyomi is a fantastic Japanese restaurant that is located within The Star Gold Coast at Broadbeach.

His second venture, after the much loved Sokyo in Sydney, chef Kojima has created a sensational menu that offers a contemporary, yet authentic taste of Tokyo.

Blessed with artisan presentation his dishes are an invitation to happiness. Meals like lamb chops with plum wine and eggplant and grilled octopus with green sauce and watermelon, set a standard few other restaurants can match.

The venue is intimate and homely, and the wine and cocktail list is very impressive. Though the restaurant might be in a casino. Its definitely not a gamble to come here.

Ms Margot’s Bar & Eats

Located in the recently revamped lobby on the ground floor of the Hilton hotel in Surfer’s Paradise, Ms Margot’s Bar & Eats offers tasty food with a side of hip Gold Coast vibes.

Showcasing the flurry of activity, outside on Orchid Avenue, via its floor to ceiling windows, the restaurant serves up a delectable share-style menu that features seafood, pizza, cheeses, antipasto and various other hor d’oeuvres.

Their impressive cocktail menu has over a dozen specialty drinks, as well as your favorite classics. While those with a sweet tooth will be spoilt for choice when it comes to desserts.

The best thing about this place is that you do not need to book a table. Walk-ins are always welcome, and you shouldn’t ever have to wait too long for a table.
