Scotland Island Lodge is set in a gorgeous, lush garden oasis, making it an incredibly unique option for accommodation in Northern Sydney. The owners have made every effort to ensure this architect-designed lodge is a luxurious place for guests to rejuvenate. Located within two kilometres of Pittwater and The Quays Marina, this paradise is isolated enough to get away from the business of the city, but not so isolated that you feel lost.
The rooms within the lodge are extremely warm and inviting, complete with complimentary linen and toiletries, a fully equipped bathroom, a sun terrace with outdoor furniture, electric kettle and refrigerator, flat screen TV, complimentary board games and movies/DVD’s. Overall, the rooms have a modern -rustic vibe to them with wooden floors and matching furniture.
Scotland Island itself does not have any restaurants, cafes or bars given it is so small and primarily residential with parklands. If you catch the ferry across from Scotland Island to Church Point Beach, you’ll find the Waterfront Cafe which serves bistro fare, cakes, coffees, and cocktails. If guests are so inclined, they may choose to travel further into Pittwater where they will find 8 Knots Cafe or Le Bayview Cafe Bistro.
The owners of the Scotland Island Lodge have gone above and beyond to create a luxury, yet homely feel for guests who stay there. All flooring is hardwood, there is air conditioning and heating, Wi-Fi is available within the hotel and is free of charge, there are menus to choose from even for special diets, and public parking is nearby.
