Located in the Byron Hinterland, Blackbird Byron is perched up in the bush on the side of Mount Koonyum. This secluded luxury getaway is only 20 minutes from the coastal town of Brunswick Heads and 30 minutes from famous Byron Bay.
The detached pavilion rooms offer guests the comforts of a luxury hotel in a more secluded and relaxing environment. They feature floor to ceiling windows through which guests can enjoy views of the surrounding bushland and Pacific Ocean. The comfortable beds have Egyptian cotton linens, and the Moroccan inspired bathrooms are equipped with a rainwater showerhead.
Blackbird Byron features premium wellness facilities. Guests can soak in the hotels’ magnesium pool or relax in the Infra-Red Sauna. Qualified massage therapists are also available to provide a range of massage treatments. The capable staff can assist in arranging tours and transport.
Each morning a locally sourced breakfast is served in the Reception Pavilion. For lunch, guests are invited to make use of the fully equipped kitchen to create gourmet meals from fresh, regional produce. As the sun sets, the hotels’ private chefs begin preparing the evening meal from local ingredients. It is generally a 3 course set menu or 5 course degustation meal.
