Located in the heart of Sydney Harbour National Park in Manly, the Q Station Retreat acts as a serene, elegant retreat for its guests. The gorgeously restored Q Station retreat is conveniently located a mere five minutes’ drive away from central Manly and is half an hour away by ferry from the CBD.

The rooms within the Q Station Retreat are very modern and maintain a villa-like relaxed stylishness. There is a selection of cottages, suites, and rooms for guests to choose from depending on their needs, the largest of which, the Officers Cottage, sleeps up to six people. Rooms feature either a view of the Australian bush or of the beautiful Sydney Harbour.

Guests at the Q Station Retreat need not worry about their eating schedule while in this lovely place. There are three restaurants on site, plus all the restaurants and cafes central Manly is known for within ten minutes’ drive. The Boilerhouse Restaurant and Bar are notoriously popular for their delicious modern Australian cuisine and the stunning views across Sydney Harbour from their premise. There is also a buffet by the name of Views on site and the Visitors Centre Cafe and Museum also serves food and drinks to guests.

This retreat has some of the most unique amenities and activities available in the entirety of Sydney. It is the only hotel in Sydney to have its own private beach. Secondly, ghost tours and all manner of haunted adventures are available on the property as it is on the site of the infamously haunted Quarantine Station. The retreat also features some of the standard amenities you’d expect of a luxury accommodation such as free Wi-Fi, a shuttle service, heating, family rooms, English speaking staff, and a business centre.
